CARVE MOVEMENTS OF SUSTAINABILITY AND HUMAN POTENTIAL
The Rossignol Group is committed to transforming its model in order to successfully incorporate the far-reaching changes in the winter sports and outdoor market. The appropriate response to new environmental and societal challenges requires us to reconsider the company’s strategies and key focuses. It also involves adopting a more inclusive and sustainable approach.
With this in mind and in order to guide its actions, the Rossignol Group has decided to defi ne its raison d’être: “Carve movements of sustainability and human potential”.
With its proud 100-year history, the Rossignol Group is seeking to create, encourage and drive movements that will enhance human potential, allowing everyone to fl ourish and grow in a more sustainable, inclusive and accessible environment. In an outdoor mountain world, which is a source of physical and mental well-being, rejuvenation and vitality.
This Purpose or Raison d’ëtre, the fruit of numerous discussions and contributions, unites our teams, who embody, every day, a sense of general well-being and passion for the mountains.
This Purpose will drive and steer our future actions. As the guiding force behind our industrial choices and investment decisions, its aim is to unite all our communities around our global and open vision of outdoor activities and our desire to protect our playing fi eld, the mountains.
This Purpose thus maps out the direction of our environmental and social programme, RESPECT: it commits us, in terms of products, processes and our communities, to move towards a more sustainable, more balanced and more respectful economy by means of target fi gures and concrete actions.
The Rossignol Group is seeking, by means of this raison d’être and the deployment of its RESPECT Programme, to raise everyone’s awareness of climate change and to work proactively and collectively to forge the mountains of the future.
