Following the successful opening of its two prestigious stores in the center of Paris, and the one in North America, in the famous historic ski resort of Aspen, the brand continues its development in the Alpine Arc. This new expansion project is concretized by the opening of a store in Innsbruck, considered as the capital of the Alps, in Austria

Golden Roof Store Rossignol

Rossignol confirms its willingness to expand its retail network in Europe and pursuits its development strategy in cities, by inaugurating a new 165 sqm store in Innsbruck’s downtown. A space inspired by authenticity, audacity and elegance, key values of Rossignol, the transalpine brand founded in 1907 by Abel Rossignol.

Located near the famous « Golden Roof », a Gothic-style balcony symbol of the city, the Rossignol store has opened on June 19th, in Herzog Friedrich Straße 20. In this prestigious location, when entering the store, the visitor will experience the Alpine world of Rossignol with a mountain landscape background, feeling the fresh atmosphere of the nature in the heart of the city.

In the store, the brand’s sport heritage and the collections’ contemporary style merge in a rich and unique buying experience. The boutique hosts the entire assortment of the apparel collections, from skiwear to urban wear, footwear and accessories, as well as a « premium » selection of technical equipment.

The 2-floors store is located in the heart of a Baroque building, easily identifiable with its balconies and historic arches. From the inside, the store’s concept takes inspiration from the DNA of the French brand and underlines its intrinsic bond to the mountain, while reinterpreting its sporty soul in a sophisticated and elegant way. This legacy translates into impressive architectural elements and into the innovative use of traditional materials, such as weathered larch, slate stone and black iron, originally used at the company headquarters in Saint Jean de Moirans (Grenoble, France).

The staircase is characterized by the original « all-over » print of the iconic tricolor rooster, the famous logo that celebrates the brand’s values of authenticity and modernity, by reinterpreting its sporty soul with elegance.

This opening completes the network of mono-brand stores already established in Paris, Lyon, Oslo and located in the heart of the most emblematic alpine ski resorts Chamonix, Megève, Val Thorens, Meribel, Courchevel, St. Moritz, Crans Montana and Aspen.

As every year during the last October weekend, rendez-vous for the Alpine Ski World Cup in Sölden.

In this occasion, Rossignol will take advantage of its proximity to the Austrian Alps and the emblematic ski resort to inaugurate its Innsbruck store, and present a preview of its new HERO range, at the presence of athletes, friends of the brand and the media. This will be the opportunity to celebrate the store opening and the new FW collections. The new HERO styles are directly inspired by racing, taking over the symbols, easily identifiable by ski racing lovers: from the lightning green indicating the leading skier, to the bright red stripes inspired by the iconic Hero race skis.
