This partnership with IDG Capital, the leading foreign investment firm in China, reinforces the\u00a0growth strategy of the group’s brands on the Chinese market, whose development is accelerating.\u00a0Rossignol aims to capitalize on its legendary history in winter sports and to become the reference\u00a0brand in Asia by the Beijing 2022 Olympic Games.<\/h2>\n

\"LeFounded in 1992, IDG Capital<\/a> was the first foreign investment firm to enter the Chinese market. With 26 years of
\nexperience in China, it has contributed to the growth of more than 700 major companies in China, including Baidu,
\nTencent, Xiaomi as well as to the development of international companies such as Moncler, Farfetch, Olympique
\nLyonnais FC or InFront.

\nDouble-digit growth<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe Chinese sports tourism market is very dynamic, with double-digit growth since 2011 and significant\u00a0development potential. Growth forecasts over the next five years are in the order of 30%, according to a PWC study.
\nIntroduced in 1995 in China, skiing is the spearhead of this exponential development, particularly since the\u00a0announcement of the 2022 Olympic Winter Games in Beijing, which has initiated several expansion and\u00a0improvement projects of existing ski facilities and the construction of three Olympic villages planned for 2022.<\/p>\n

\nThe winter sports market in China should reach 100 billion yuan, or 13.7 billion euros by 2025. The equipment alone\u00a0would represent 16 billion yuan, or 2.1 billion euros, for the same period.
