After 13 years with the Rossignol Group Racing Department,\u00a0Angelo Maina will be replaced, with effect from 1\u00a0September, by St\u00e9phane Mougin, currently in the role of\u00a0Alpine Racing Manager. Angelo Maina will, however, continue\u00a0to work part-time with the Group on specific projects within\u00a0the Racing Department.
\nSt\u00e9phane Mougin<\/strong>, age 49, will take over as head of the\u00a0Racing Department and will be responsible for managing
\nathletes in all the disciplines to which the Group has\u00a0committed. His remit will encompass the four brands of
\nRossignol, Dynastar, Lange and Look.<\/strong>
\nSt\u00e9phane Mougin joined Rossignol in 2001 as manager of the\u00a0test unit. Prior to this, he worked as a technician at Atomic\u00a0from 1990 until 1998, where his duties included looking after\u00a0Luc Alphand\u2019s skis right up until the end of his career. In 1998,\u00a0he then took on the role of trainer with the Men\u2019s Downhill\u00a0section of the Swiss national team.
\nHis in-depth knowledge of the racing world and expertise\u00a0in competition equipment development are major assets to\u00a0support the Rossignol Group\u2019s quest for performance and its\u00a0commitment to taking its athletes to the very highest level.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Racing Department, with its athletes and<\/em>
\nstaff, is like a big family where everyone works<\/em>
\nas a team and gives it their all. So it is a huge<\/em>
\nsource of satisfaction for me to be taking<\/em>
\nover as head of this department. We have<\/em>
\nsome exciting cards to play over the coming<\/em>
\nyears with athletes from different generations,<\/em>
\nincluding promising young talent in whom we<\/em>
\nhave great belief and who remain a priority in<\/em>
\nour sports policy.<\/em>
\nWhat is my favourite racing memory in my<\/em>
\ntime with Rossignol? It\u2019s always difficult to pick<\/em>
\nout a single moment, but I have some great<\/em>
\nmemories of the Vancouver and Sochi Winter<\/em>
\nOlympics, where we had some very emotional<\/em>
